Regular Season CSA

The 2019 Regular Season CSA program will run for 18 consecutive weeks beginning in mid-June and running through mid-October.  Regular Season CSA shares contain a diverse and abundant array of seasonal produce as well as U-pick items such as flowers, herbs and raspberries. Previous seasons shares may be viewed on our farm’s Facebook page.

Regular Season CSA shares are picked up at the farm on either Tuesday evenings from 4 – 7pm or Saturday mornings from 8 – 11am.   Members must indicate their preference for a Tuesday or Saturday pick-up at sign up time.  This will be your primary pick-up day unless we are notified otherwise in advance of the pick-up.

Our Regular Season CSA share price for 2019 is $660.  Our CSA has been and continues to be known for providing incredible quality and value and we continue to consider that to be our mission.

We do not offer half-shares but have many members that choose to split their share with friends, family, co-workers or neighbors.  On occasion, we have been able to pair people up as needed.

Late Season CSA and Winter CSA

Late Season CSA

The Late Season CSA program is a six-week program with bi-weekly pick-ups. The Late Season Share Price is $220. Pick-ups will take place on the farm on Saturday mornings between 9:00 – 11:00am. Although shares are picked up bi-weekly, each share’s volume is designed around two weeks’ worth of eating. We’re able to do this because many of the crops available each week are varieties that store well. You will receive fresh seasonal salad greens and cooking greens in each share as well as other “green” vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, leeks and Brussels sprouts. Additionally we will have a diverse array of root crops, potatoes, onions, garlic and winter squash available.

If you love fall eating like we do, this is be a great program for you!

Late Season Dates

The 2019 Late Season CSA is designed as six-week program with bi-weekly pick-ups.

Saturday Dates: 10/26, 11/9, 11/23

Late Season Pickups

Pickups will take place at the farm on Saturday mornings from 9:00am – 11:00am.

Winter CSA

The Winter CSA Program provides three shares picked up monthly on the first Saturday of December, January and February. The Winter CSA Share price is $225. Pick-ups will take place at the farm on Saturday mornings between 9:00 – 11:00am. You will receive high-tunnel grown cooking greens in each share as well as green and red cabbage. We will have a diverse array of root crops, potatoes, onions, garlic and winter squash available. The overall volume of produce is similar to a bi-weekly distribution from the Late Season CSA with around 1 – 2 bushels of mixed produce. The price point is slightly higher given increased costs of storage and high-tunnel production.

Winter CSA Dates

The 2019 Winter CSA is a monthly program.

Saturday Dates: 12/7, 1/4, 2/1

Winter CSA Pickups

Pickups will take place at the farm on Saturday mornings from 9:00am – 11:00am. In the event of inclement winter weather such as heavy snow or extreme cold, we will make arrangements and provide a couple of days notice to reschedule the CSA pick-up for a later date.

CSA 2019

2019 marks our 15th year farming and serving the Central New York local food economy.  We’re confident that the resilience of our farming systems and our years of experience growing in CNY will provide for an excellent 2019 CSA Season.

Our 2019 CSA program is now split into three separate components.  Our Regular Season CSA, Late Season CSA and Winter CSA programs.  In an effort to improve our operations and planning, and enhance opportunities for our membership, we are now advance-marketing our Late Season and Winter CSA.  We just completed our 7th Late Season CSA Program and it has been very successful and well received.  We are in the midst of our 2018 – 2019 Winter CSA and it has been going very well.  We have been gradually making improvements to our winter storage and production capacity and are confident with the results.  Members may sign up for any individual CSA program component and/or combination of components.
